Souper Sunday
January 10th was the Church of Scotland’s Souper Sunday. A Sunday set aside to raise awareness and funds for the HIV/Aids Appeal.
In preparation for this Sunday the Worship and Devotion Committee planned and lead service and hte youth of the congregation held a fund-raising sleep over the evening before. After the service the Social Committee planned a spectacular Soup and Sweet lunch.
The Youth raised over 250 pounds and the Lunch raised near 600 pounds, most of which was gift aid.
